Anyway, Katy got to go to a Civil War ball this year with some friends. They learned a bunch of dances from that era, dressed up, and, well, had a ball!

A friend that we haven't seen in about three years flew into Denver for some training. We were thrilled that we could meet him for dinner and enjoy his company once more. He was quite surprised at how much Trey, Katy and John had grown and pointed out that I am now only taller than Randy. We will get to see Matt again and his family when we travel cross-country in July. :)Lee went to Mississippi for a week of training for his new job that he'll start in August. While there, he got to take pictures of the house we'll be living in as well as write down the dimensions of each room. The layout will be so weird, since it's a house/apartment combination, but at least I won't have to downsize as much as I'd previously thought. (And Lee is thrilled about this new employment opportunity!)
I'd like to tell you about Randy and his adventures in cooking, but it's much too late to start into that, so I'll leave it for next time... And maybe then my thoughts will be better organized.Until then, may God bless you.
The house/apartment (Southern condo?) looks pretty neat, actually. I'm glad that Lee's looking forward to his new work-related adventures.
ReplyDeleteTell everyone I say hi!
The white one. The brick is the school building... =D
ReplyDeleteThe floors are gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteCooking adventures can be fun. Was there much cleaning involved? :o)
ReplyDeleteThe dresses are beautiful! It looks like they had...a ball! Hahaha!
The busy never ends, does it? Since Marina started taking courses at the college, I feel like I'm a vigilante, constantly on the run and unable to rest for long in one place! :o)
Peace and Laughter!
